My PayPal Experience

This is my first time to use Paypal and it was not good at all. Paypal keeps on rejecting my payment eventhough i still have enough credit limit left in my Credit Card. To think of it, it accepts 50% initial payment to my merchant. Now i need to settle the remaining 50% which again gives me the “This payment cannot be funded with a credit card at this time.” error message.

just an update, i called paypal and they said that im been hit by their internal security program since that im trying to send money to the same person for a couple of times(since im trying this for like forever)
unfortunately, no one in paypal can lift this security flag in my account, even the president of paypal cant do this.
his advice was try to send again after a couple of days and if theres an error, wait until the next day…
or try to add a secondary credit card and test if paypal will accept my payment.
let’s see what happen next

I wish there was an alternative to PayPal that everybody used. Something like google checkout (http://checkout.google.com/)
If there was some competition, we probably wouldn’t have problems like this…
Paypal is a pain! This is bad, pure wastage of time!
Any great news after that.. did it complete were you able to sent the remaining money??
i will try next week if my payment will go through. i also asked my GF to open her own paypal to serve as my alternative option
Have the same problem for all the week, got answer from paypal:
I’ve reviewed your PayPal account and can confirm that
the transaction you are referring to was stopped by our internal security system.
To ensure the integrity of our network, PayPal may take security measures which may affect some accounts in good standing. We also reserve the right to limit the funding sources available for a payment if the system detects a certain level of risk associated with the transaction. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
PayPal employs complex statistical models to identify patterns of behaviour. This is similar to the way banks and credit card companies identify patterns of behaviour that are out of the ordinary when approving individual transactions. When our system doesn’t allow a certain funding source for a transaction, it’s merely an indication that the individual transaction fits a pattern associated with a higher risk that we have observed in the past. Please be assured that this is a standard procedure for all transactions going through PayPal.
Please note: If your transaction has been refused, you may be able to complete the transaction using another funding source or at a later date.

the seller accepts only paypal, tryed everyting – allways the same message…
btw, it looks like paypal thinks that everyone have ~10 or more CC – “try to add a enother credit card and test if paypal will accept payment”

I thoroughly hate PayPal – and I say this with complete honesty. I hate PayPal from the bottom of my heart. PayPal is evil.
Surely Paypal SUCKS! I had put up an online store for selling cellphone cards a few weeks ago. After a few transactions, I got an email from Paypal telling me they have restricted my account as they are currently investing some possibly fraudulent transactions involving my account. F@c|< them! I am trying to earn money in an honest way and they do this for no explanation at all. I have been trying to contact them via email at their website and I haven’t received any reply at all! Nada! Customer service sucks! Anybody here using a real merchant account?
Helpe me .” I had a problem with ma account thre months ago.I digit my password wrong five times, I don’t knew my code paypal on my bill statment Cred Card, then I change my Cred card,now appear “This payment cannot be funded with a credit card at this time”. I am waiting
one month and can’t buy at the moment. I have one order waiting payment and can’t pay it, I’m exasperated with paypal.
Does your paypal account is already verified? Maybe you encounter this kind of problem because your account is still limited and cannot send funds to other ppl/account…
